The Italian Vision

The group exhibition The Italian Vision is a journey through post-war Italian art with works of some of the most significant figures on the Italian scene.
The exhibition brings together different visual poetics — from sign painting to conceptual art — to convey a pluralistic vision of formal research and aesthetic experimentation.

From 16 October to 19 December, a selection of around 20 works created between the 1950s and 1980s highlights the different currents, experiments and tensions that shaped Italian art in the second half of the 20th century, in dialogue with major international movements and at the same time rooted in a specific historical and cultural context.

The exhibition intertwines multiple research projects and visual expressions, with the aim of bringing different languages into dialogue under a single ‘Italian vision’. The project spans several themes and pictorial styles, able of conveying the richness and complexity of Italian art in recent decades.
